What are crowns?
Crowns are a new 'virtual currency' being introduced with the release of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. They can be used to purchase in-game items, services and content via the Crown Store interface in the game. Crowns are available for purchase separately and are included as part of an ESO Plus membership. When you purchase crowns, you receive a license to use them in the game; therefore, they are not sellable, tradable, or usable outside of the game. Please see the Terms of Service for additional information regarding the terms and conditions applicable to virtual currency.
How do I get crowns?
There are several ways to get crowns:
1) As a new player: New players will be given a one-time gift of 500 crowns for buying the game and creating a game account.
2) As a current subscriber: If you are an active subscriber when The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited launches, you will receive 500 crowns for having a game account, plus 100 crowns for each 30-day period you have been an active subscriber. 3) As a returning player: If you've previously played The Elder Scrolls Online, but are no longer a subscriber, you'll receive 500 crowns when you log in for having a game account, plus 100 crowns for each 30-day period you were a subscriber.

Can I use crowns in a different game or outside of the game?
No. Crowns cannot be transferred to other games and have no value outside of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.
Do my crowns and purchased items come with me if I switch megaservers?
For PC and Mac players able to play on either the North America or European megaservers, crowns carry over from one server to the other. However, all items purchased via the Crown Store are only available on the server where they were purchased. For example, if you buy a pet on the North American megaserver, it will only be available when playing on the North American megaserver. If you want the pet to be available when playing on the European megaserver, you will need to purchase that pet on the European server. Console players are automatically assigned to the megaserver in their respective home territory and are not able to switch.
Does purchased downloadable content (DLC) come with me if I switch megaservers?
No. DLC purchased in the Crown Store is only available on the megaserver where it was purchased. (For example, if you buy DLC on the North American megaserver, it will only be available when playing on the North American megaserver.)
What is downloadable content (also known as DLC)?
DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited consists of game packs with optional adventuring content (zones, quests, etc.) added to the game to enhance your game play experience should you choose. It is not required.
How can I get this downloadable content?
DLC will be available for purchase in the Crown Store on an a la carte basis. DLC purchased on an a la carte basis will be available to you for as long as The Elder Scrolls Online is available. Members of ESO Plus will receive complimentary access to all DLC game packs for the duration of their membership.
Do I lose all items and rewards earned from DLC if my ESO Plus membership ends?
No. You will lose access to the DLC areas and quests should your membership lapse (unless you purchase the DLC separately in the Crown Store), but you will keep all items and rewards earned through the content.
Unlike in most MMOs, in ESO choosing the class is not as big of a decision as you would think it is. That’s because in ESO your class does not really define your character. Of course it can, and for most players it will likely have a huge impact on the way they choose to progress and develop their character. But in The Elder Scrolls Online, the class abilities and skills represent only a very small portion of the total number of abilities available to each player.
The Classes
By choosing a class, the player will gain access to a class-specific set of skills. In ESO these skill sets are called skill lines. Each class skill line gives the player the option to put skill points in five different active abilities and four passive abilities, plus an ultimate ability per skill line. The ultimate skills and active skill can be morphed. Morphs change the original skill in a specific way, giving you more options to customize your character and playstyle further. Each ultimate skill and active skill comes with two morph options. Once a skill has been morphed, it will replace the original skill.
Tamriel Unlimited Pc
Every class has three skill lines, all of which often have their own niche.
Tamriel Unlimited Review
A dragonknight’s skill lines, for example, are Ardent Flame, Draconic Power and Earthen Heart.
The Ardent Flame skill line has a fire theme, and the skill line focuses on fiery effects and abilities. In general the Ardent Flame skill line can be seen as the go-to damage dealer skill line, where as Draconic Power has a much tankier set of abilities. Most of the abilities are very defensive, so it is fair to say that choosing at least a couple of Draconic Power abilities should be a no-brainer for any dragonknight that wants to have a defensive build, be it in PvE or PvP. For me personally, the most interesting skill line out of the three dragonknight skill lines has to be the Earthen Heart. It focuses heavily on utility and control, both of which can be very beneficial in any scenario within the game. A player who enjoys playing the support role should feel right at home with the Earthen Heart skill line.
Tamriel Unlimited
All in all, the classes in ESO can be seen as character templates. Because you can only ever slot ten abilities and two ultimate abilities on your quickslots, it’s very likely that you’ll only end up with a few class abilities. Then again, maybe you really like what your class abilities give to you as a player, and want to build on those rather than focusing on the other skill lines that are available in the game. Don’t forget that as your character progresses in the game, you will gain more skill points and with more skill points you can further specialize your character by choosing different active and passive abilities.
Elder Scrolls Tamriel Unlimited Ps4
You are not bound by your class at all. If you wish to wield a destruction staff and wear heavy armor, you can do so. If the original picture you had in your mind about your character doesn’t suit you after some time, you can turn around and specialize on other stuff. Not digging those dual-wield axes? Why don’t you grab a bow and snipe instead.
Tamriel Unlimited Walkthrough
Maybe you want to prepare for almost any situation and make sure you have a set of abilities that makes you the jack of all trades. Perhaps you want to be the offensive glass cannon that excels in dealing damage with ranged weapons from afar? In the end the choice is yours. And choices are something you will have.
